Freda Markley Early Childhood Center Leadership

At this time, Principal Kacy Parker will be away from the building indefinitely. Ms. Parker is a valued member of our team and we are keeping her in our thoughts.

To ensure continued support for our students, staff, and families, we are pleased to introduce Aletha Penn as Acting Principal. Ms. Penn is a current doctoral candidate with more than 20 years of experience in K–12 education. She brings strong experience in instructional leadership, building positive school cultures, and supporting young learners and their families.

Ms. Penn has previously served as interim principal and is committed to continuing the strong foundation built at Freda Markley. Our district leadership team will also remain closely connected to the school to ensure students continue to receive the high level of care, support, and learning experiences that families expect.
